Hey Birch, one of my past supervisors sent me a picture via e-mail of Michigan during spring break. There are two guys on an ice float. They're sitting in lawn chairs and fishing on a sunny day. One of the guys looks kinda like you from a distance. LOL But you're much more muscular. :o)”

“actually nigal it really didnt hurt. It scared the crap outta me but felt more like heavy pressue. 8 stitches all told I think, its kind of a jumbled mess. I asked the doc how many, she replied "enough to keep it closed".

I'm on the local planning and zoning board. One night I walk into our pre-meeting meeting and the local building inspector is all bandaged up on his face. He looked like he'd been in a car wreck. He had stitches, bruises, and the like. My smart mouth couldn't resist so I commented, "Dang Paul, I'd hate to see the other guy." He replied, "It wasn't a him, it was a her." when i hiked out all those miles with my knee locked up and in severe pain, i would rather have crawled out on my hands and knees through cactus than to have used my cell phone, which was working the whole time btw, to have called someone to carry me out of there. that was my actual thought when i was there. my knee was hugely swollen and red and hot by the time i got home.
