My new job totally rocks!

“About time i got a good one!

My coworkers are awesome but mostly I get to work all by my lonesome self once I am fully trained. I can jam to loud music as I work, watch the portable tv, play on the computer, play hacky sack, take as many breaks as I want, fool around and punch in no lunch (even though we do take lunch) so that we can get out a half hour earlier. and the Boss said I can do all this!! So long as the work gets done. It is a totally stress free enviroment. OMG...I am on easy street now :) I even have my own little "Office". My co-workers even have brains! WOHOO! All this and I get paid twice as much as before :)”

“I'm having lunch at my desk today, so I can finally get online.

First off, my cube f#$%ing rocks! I have a window facing south. I not only have lots of light, but I can see half of the Space Needle, most of downtown and a lot of Elliott Bay. It's a beautiful view. I can watch the ferries go by and people down on the path at Myrtle Edwards park. My cube is just ever so slightly off from seeing Mt. Rainier. The building next door is in the way. My boss can see it, two cubes over tho.

Everyone is very nice here. I'm travelling already too. Going to Portland on Tues. I'm learning a lot about the dairy industry. My boss is a really cool lady. I think that I can learn a ton from her.

“I had a corner office once. Beautiful panoramic views from the 4th floor. Only trouble was, it was a conference room with my workstation tucked in a corner, and I got kicked out any time there was a conference.”

“No, it's the old CitiCorp building. You can also just make out the Campanile on the Cal campus in the background, so the view is looking kinda sorta northish.”

AND! I just started, but they gave me a week of vacation that I'm required to take before year end. Double Woo Hoo!”

“Oh no! I went to a meeting and came back to find my favorite graffiti covered box car is gone. : ( it had this cool devil face on it. There are about 10 sets of tracks out there. It's sort of a holding place for the trains while they load up at the port. I've got to take a picture!!!!!”

“To my knowledge the sun will move in relation to the horizon while the mountains to not travel across out heavans ;-)”

“When the sun comes "up" it is in relation to the horizon. When it comes "out" it has to do with clouds moving, not the sun. Just like when the mountain is out.”
