I would say that the legs are drilled to accept a metal post. The seat would be attached to the metal posts and the legs are only a facade. The foot rail appears to be welded to the base plate. Quite a bit of work to have made here in the US. I say Walmart could sell them for $39.99 from China.”

“Those would be easy to make Maple. Go to the mall or Department store and see if you can have the maniquen legs. A lot of the time they break or they cannot use them anymore, so they throw them out.

The legs are the hardest part. You can get the stuff for the stool at the nearest home improvement store.”
