The brats, Troy(green) and Howie(blue). They refused to face the camera, no matter how we turned the cage.

Coolness! Loved the brats I mean birds! I think you should take some pics of them on you so we have something to judge their size. Thanks for sharing! Glad they were all ok when you got home from Ocala!

Tango I wish I could, but the brats are just that, they want nothing to do with me at all, but I havent had them long so maybe it will jsut take more timefor them to get to know me? I try everyday and the best I get is bites! Those guys really bite hard when the want to! :(

mapes, he is a total sweatheart. He follows me around like a puppy when I have him out and about. The only thing is his claws are getting hard to deal with but someone suggested sanding them on bird paper at the pet shop. He grew from 4 inches when I got him, to 2 feet, and he's still growing. He goes through 40 crickets and 10 super worms a day, plus a salad of healthy greens, veggies and fruit. The leopord gecko is cool too, but he likes to hide all the time in his cocoanut house and rarely comes out unless you are messing around in his cage, in whihc he peeks out to see what you are doing. He is nocternal and was very sleepy in that pic. I've had him a few months longer then loki.

Tango-
Some of them you can, but most are too skittish/fast/jumpy/poisonous to really hold. IF they jump and fall, that would kill them so we don't take the chance with most except for the Avicularas, the Rose Hairs, and other new world species which tend to be calmer, slower and less prone to getting angry. Not only do you have to watch out for fangs, but they kick uticulating hairs at you whihc make you itch for a while.

I love the bearded dragon.... I used to have one when I was younger. They are so sweet.

I used to have leopard geckos as well... also very friendly and sweet.

I notice that SC STILL hasn't gotten the other bird's wings clipped!

Don't you feed the bearded lizard pinkies or fuzzies? Some friends of ours give those in addition to larvae, crickets, veggies and whatnot to their bearded lizard.
