I ride Iggy bareback once in a while for bonding time. It may be just me but I think he behaves better because he feels the closeness.”

“i like to ride bareback cause it's way more comfortable than any saddle.

chrissy likes her australian stock saddle the best, especially for jumping.

there's only a few places to go horse packing in new york, but we'll probably go this summer”

I ride in Stubben all-purpose. It's old and feels molded to me.

this summer i'm putting in a riding ring so then we'll be able to work with them year round.

do you board iggy?

when i first starting looking at going to wyoming this summer i wanted to do a 3day horseback trip, then a 4 or 5 day hike but it's so dam expensive. intstead we'll just go for an all day ride the first day and then hike 6 days.

i'd love to bring our boys out there for a trip but trailering them from ny to wyoming would cost so much in gas and i don't think they'd enjoy that long of a ride.”

“I board Iggy. Used to keep him at home but moved. Plus getting up at 4 for morning chores and doing evening chores left little time to enjoy. Now I work out, ride and someone else shovels. Worth it.

Yeah It would cost me more to get Iggy out west than his owner.
