Fact: It was primarily Democrats who voted in the failed Assault Weapons Ban. It was only liberals who passed unconstitutional ordinance banning firearms in Chicago, Washington, San Fransisco, Evanston, and Morton Grove.

Fact: Only Democrats (read liberal) talk about taxing the rich. Sounds good until you find out their definition of rich means anyone who pays income taxes.

Fact: Only Democrats (read liberal) talk about increasing taxes on oil companies (so that our gasoline costs on the average consumer will rise to European levels).

I believe there are lots of democrats(voters) who are not liberal. People like Chili36, whom I consider to be a good friend.
