Vail, CO skiing

“Anyone been out to Vail this year? I had heard that they are doing alot of work both on the resort and town, and Im just trying to catch up on info cause we are going soon. The story I heard is that much of the town is being remodeled, and they are fashioning the resort to cater to an older clientelle (since the Baby Boomers are getting older and thats where the money is, they are following them), nameley making more of the runs groomed and fashioning them where the degree of difficulty isnt as high, like taking out moguls, steep grades etc. I did notice on the trail map that the back bowls now have some grromed runs, and I dont ever remember that before. Anyway, any help or info would be appreciated!

“Working out great! Got all the big house stuff we had planned done, though all the maintenance is still a giant pain in the ass. Been taking a higher course load on top of work, so I havent had time for much of anything else. Actually this is the first time I've even been on here in forever, and that even includes lurking. How are things with you?”
