If you have a map it should be easy to find. The campsite is at the bottom of a bluff on the left side of the trail. You cannot see the campsite from the trail. The trail down to it was kinda hard to follow before, but that was 3 years ago. It is an easy hike.

Forecast sounds relatively peachy. It's s'posed to snow here in the higher elves of the Asheville area; 30's and windy.

I energized the Jacuzzi a while ago. Instant trippage. I gotta stick around and troubleshoot the blasted bastage. A remorseful Cletus talked me into letting him take the truck and dawgies to TN.

Keep him outta trouble, K?

My Yummy encounters?
Tarabull's house on her arrival with the other Tennesseeans, Fall 03. Then a hike-in to spend the last night w/her et al on the Pictured Rocks hike that weekend. I packed in the largest variety of alcholic beverages I've ever possessed. Trail Angeling, don't cha know? I was completely surprised that EVERYONE still had ample libations of their own. What I couldn't give away, I drank. I got the drunkest I've been since prom night of '76. I was sloppy as a soup sandwich. Totally embarrassing...

Ocala III, 2004.
I got the drunkest I've been since Pictured Rocks, yet I woulda qualified as the designated driver - lol! Cletus made his debut, and fell in love with Yum (he later divulged to me). Geez, I hope he behaves this weekend...

Last year at Monk Bell SP hike, then greet, meet, eet, and dreenk at Yaddayadda restraunt/bar.

Dam gooooooooooood times!

Dammit, I have to work tomorrow morning, I would then have to go back to Knoxville, swap the Service Vehicle for my car, then try to get there, and it looks like freezing rain in the valley and snow above 2500 feet tomorrow.

I guess I will just stay in Townsend.

(OPIE) was a great trip, most awesome trail and perfect weekend for it also. A little rain and a little white lightning, but it only livened our spirits. home, into the hot tub, and then off to dinner on the town. Had a blast guys

I got home a while ago. Great trip and trail. Would like to go back in the fall for that one.
The wildflowers were everywhere. I hope to have my pics up later on this evening.

Off to the store and laundry to do..what a thrilling Sunday night

Good luck, yam.
Sorry I missed it. I was there Thursday afternoon and checked everything, but decided not to stay.

The library computer here in Maryville was down for almost four days and I could not post. The trouble was with the ISP, Bell South.
