I gave away my Serratus VBL liner because I couldn't fit my shoulders into it. I confirmed the need for a VBL a couple of weeks later.

I think the best thing would be to make one myself.

Does anyone know a source for silnylon material?

Outdoor Wilderness Fabrics

Although some here have been lucky enough to find it at Wal-Mart.

Gremlin couldn't you just use a tall kitchen garbage bag? You know the white ones that are about 36" tall? Oh I'm sorry about a meter tall.

Just kidding man!

Thanks for the VBL. It fits me fine. Maybe it will go to McKinley with me...

Actually in all seriousness, I've thought about using something like one of those tall contractors waste bags that they use on construction sites as a VBL. I think they make some that are about 6' tall.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. It is probably heavier than a sil vbl.
