I can't find anything to buy at REI.

Anything non-camping related is overpriced and I can get at a better price when with the 20% off coupon. I sure as hell don't need any new clothes. Any suggestions?”

Sleeping bag: Nope... I'm Western Mountaineering brand loyal.
Pad: Already own a Prolite and a POE Max Thermo.
Stakes: Already have an assortment of fancy Ti and Aluminum stakes
Trekking poles: I already have a nice Cork grip set.
Tarp: I make my own custom Silnylon tarps
Clothed: I sure as hell don't need new clothes. I have enough hiking clothes to not wash for 3 weeks and still not wear the same thing twice.
Footware: 3 pairs of hiking boots and 3 trail runners. Don't need shoes.
Jacket: Um... I already had to give away 5 jackets at work because I was over my 30 jacket limit.”

..I always use my dividend/20% coupon to buy things I could never afford
..I got this had last year..I got my Xcursion lantern another year
..and my Chaco sandles yet another year..

“DeoreDX, just don't get the Moonlight headlamp. It conked out on us and we brought it back, but big deal, I don't want to keep bringing back this damn thing for a wire defect.

My mom has a better headlamp than me and she uses it just for reading. She likes to read with the bedroom light off. I bought her one with no wiring that comes from the back to the front which also eliminates that bump in the back of your head.
