Honey and sugar - what do you call your wife??

Naw, it's not over. Bustin' on Nigal is a 24/7 experience. Bust away! I don't gage my manhood by the names I give pets. Besides, I have balls big enough to haul around in a wheelbarrow.

Well, it would seem that Sugar rules the roost. She already has the dog in line and is standing her ground with her. Funny to see a 5 pound cat stand up to an 85 pound retriever. The two cats try to pretend like the other doesn't exist but when they do run into each other they just hiss and move on.

My friend's got 2 Maine Coons... They are absolutely regal! :-) One of them is quite funny. He walks with both legs on each side going the same way... rather than alternating... :-) (I'm not much of a cat person, but she told me that that was unusual.)

Their names are Nicky and Brownie...

One of the 2 doesn't have a real "voice" he can't really mew...They're siblings... (Both fixed males)... Beautiful cats...

So.... it's kind of like a retro "Archies" party at the Nigal household, hmmmm???

LMAO! :-)

Nice looking cat. And get a brush to remove those white hairs from clothes.

Roscoe is so fat and his hair is so thick and long that he has a hard time keeping himself groomed. Every six months or so I bring him to the groomers and they shave him to the skin.

Talk about funny looking! But he is so happy when it's done. He purrs for days and just sucks up to me.

Nigal, I see the take out box the cat came in. I always new they served cat in Chinese food, lol:)

I haven't been keeping up with this thread. Is this cat named already? You must be calling the cat something by now!

Nigal, where did you get the cat from, and don't tell me, Hung Wok's Chinese take out either:)

She came from the Human Society. They give everyone a free cardboard cat carrier when they take a cat. Her name is Sugar. She is the wierdest cat I've ever had.

It turns out Sugar’s paperwork was wrong and she is not spayed. She’s been running around in heat sticking her butt up in the air in front of anyone she thinks will take a crack at her. She has now repeatedly tried to molest the dog.

I gotta get this poor cat fixed. I know guys can die if they don’t get it but can female cats die of horniness?

Well Nigal, if they go into heat she can get infections and stuff (like dogs can) and if your not planning on her having kitties it is better for her health to get her fixed. We had to spay sasha becuase she got soem very bad infections from going into heat without having puppies...

Old Farmer tip...
and I have absolutely NO CLUE if it works...but you're welcome to try.

When I was in college one of my friends lived off campus near a dairy farm. The man who owned the farm swore up and down you could make a cat finish up her heat by inserting a q-tip then voila the heat would end.

Ok it doesnt surprise me that someone would try the q-tip thing, it is just scarey to think that a [b]Diary farmer[b] Is out there doing this......really makes me think twice about drinking a glass of milk.

So Fix the cat, and beware of milk.

You should be okay due to milk pasteurization, Frantic. Just stay away from raw milk. It could more raw than you think.
treebait

5/02/05

That is how they artificially inseminate cows. Proper etiquette calls for the farmer to ask the cow if it was good for her.

Yes, raw milk often has little surprises in it if obtained by the traditional hand milking into a bucket, but with modern dairy milkers there is little chance "foreign substances" can get into the milk.

When we'd get a little surprise in a glass of milk, we'd get rid of the entire glass. My grandfather would tell us it was good for us. I never understood how such a god-fearing man would lie like that. But I noticed when it happened to him, he wouldn't drink it either.

Name it . . . .
Go Away. That way when you call it and it walks the other way, everyone will think you have trained it really well. Everyone knows cats never come when you call, they just walk away.

You can get cats fixed while in heat nowadays. Sometimes they go in and out so fast that you'd not be able to get it done otherwise. Call the vet Nigal!

I had Little Bit fixed while she was in heat; she had a morphine patch on her side for 3 days afterward, for the pain. When they ripped it off, all the fur follicles went with it. It took a long time for the fur to grow back. Other than that, no problems at all.

Pixie I love cats
It just that I find their temperaments amusing. I had a cat once, before I became allergic to them. S"am" and I were best buds. I still like cats, just have to wash my hands immediately after petting one and before I touch my face.

But you must admit, they have a mind of their own.

Mine isn't like that. She isn't indifferent or aloof at all. Every cat has a different personality.
That's a bummer about your allergy. A friend of mine is pretty allergic, like you.

The man's arm up the cow's butt comment reminds me of a newsclip that was on a few years ago, when an elephant sat on a man's head. (Brings a new meaning to calling someone a $-h-!-+ head.... LOL)

So, nobody else saw the episode of MASH where Hawkeye (or was it BJ) had to stick his arm up into the cow to turn the calf so it could be born?
