I am from the Nashville area, but go to school at TTU in Cookeville. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what routes to take to find a good wilderness first-aid class to participate in. We have a few backpacking courses at school, but they are more geared to the beginner and only briefly touch on wilderness first-aid. Any suggestions would be great.

I can vouch for that Bison also. Good stuff!

I recommend you supplement it with a CPR course.

Personally I wouldn't touch anything sponsored by the Sierra Club with a 150 foot pole, but since he asked...

I wonder if that's the Katibug who posts here? I think I met her at the fierry gizzard, I met some TTer there but don't remember who it was, need to add them to my "Who have you met" list.

Who were you fierry gizzard person?

Yes, Bison. That was Katibug at the Fiery Gizzard. She is some kind of officer for the Nashville Chapter of the Sierra Club.
