Cabela's PAclite Rainwear “Anybody ever try this rain jacket? or has anybody ever had problems ordering from Cabela's? http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jhtml?id=0026939922399a&type=product&cmCat=search&returnString=hasJS=true&_D%3AhasJS=+&QueryText=rainwear+paclite&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jhtml.22&N=4887&Ntk=Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt=rainwear+paclite&noImage=0&returnPage=search-results1.jhtml” 9:21:29 PM 3/13/05 “Wow! Now that's what I call a "link" ! Nice looking jacket. I wonder what the weight of it is ?” 8:30:36 AM 3/14/05 “Nice looking jacket, cheap for GTX Paclite. I've never had a problem ordering from Cabelas or with their own brand of gear.” 10:01:03 AM 3/14/05 “TownDawg, do you wear tall? If you do, I just don't remember you being taller than me. Thought there might be some gear specific reason for you to choose tall if you normally wear regular.” 3:07:41 PM 3/14/05 “Cabelas has always been belly-belly good to me.” 3:08:41 PM 3/14/05 “wupps! sorry top dawg got you dawgs confused been a long day” 4:08:39 PM 3/14/05 Town Dawg? “Joe Pye: Nope, Town Dawg's a different person, and it sounds like he's a lot shorter than me (at 6'2" I've gotta buy the tall size). I definately need some new rain gear; I'm not sure if my current set have more coated nylon or duct tape holding out the rain. I've been looking at quite a few brands and these seem to be about the best bargin I can find, plus they're made in tall sizes. MDSHiker: As for the weight, I e-mailed Cabela's customer service to see what the weight of both the parka and rainpants are, and I also want to find out if the pants have full side zippers. Haven't heard back from them yet.” 9:27:25 PM 3/14/05 “I too, like Cabella's. Top notch company.” 4:52:00 AM 3/15/05 FYI: Reply from Cabelas “If any of you are interested in weights of Cabela's Gortex Paclite rainwear, here's what I got back from them: Hello, Thanks for visiting cabelas.com I am showing that the #IF-922399 in medium is 17 ounces and the #IF922400 weigh 12 ounces. The pants have knee length leg zippers. If you have any additional questions feel free to e-mail us back. You may also try our Live chat, which can be found at the bottom of any of our web pages. It is headed "Need help; then Live Chat". You can chat with us live. Or you can call 800-237-8888. Thanks Sincerely, Lonnie They are a little heavier than comparable products, but they're also a littel cheaper and (for me) come in tall sizes. This might be my choice . . .” 9:40:44 PM 3/15/05
