“I was at Death Valley this weekend, too! Sun and Mon. There were so many people, but the flowers were beyond amazing. There was so much desert 5-spot that seeing it actually stopped being exciting at some point. Anyone who can get down there should go now. There were actually some people kayaking on "Lake Bad Water." I guess they can say they did something almost no one else has done.”

That is interesting all the ladybugs all together like that. I have had ladybugs land on me on summit peaks several times & seeing them in the rocks on the summits. It is not on all peaks either I have seen them..just a few, so I am curious why they seem to flock to some and not to others. Looks like you had a beautiful day there!
