Black Creek is about the only thing.

I usually drive up into the Sipsey or North Georgia for my hikes.

I kayak mostly around here.

Now that I've seen your pictures and read your trip reports, you seen like an OK guy. ;-)

I'll give you a holler next time I head North. I don't think your wife will go again. ;-)

Well I appreciate the vote of confidence. She said she would go again as soon as she forgets about this trip.

Stovey, where's your trip report? I haven't looked very carefully on here yet, but someone told me something about an explosion mentioned in the thread title???!?!

I saw something similar in the thread title, but haven't yet read Prosecutor's report on "the other side."

So WTF happened??!?!? LOL!

lizs - Prosecutor's report is the only one. All others, including myself, bailed on the trip.

bit -- the story is on here somewhere. It was bad. I got the bright idea to psuedo car camp where Borden and Sipsey join.

lizs - someone on a football board that lives in NW Iowa is considering hiking and is wanting local advice. I told them I'd talk with you. Any advice?

We haven't hiked in the Smokies together much. She did do a 5 mile loop the 2nd time we went. We hiked up Little River and looped back through the abandoned houses. It rained and we had the kids with us. It was too bad though. I hope that this summer we can hike to Abrams Falls.

The Walls of Jericho trip last weekend that turned out to be a solo for Prosecutor. Well, until the Scouts showed up and tried to blow up the place.

Here's the TR thread

Dayhiker.

The hike into Abrams is a nice easy stroll. I plan to take the kids up there this summer and pack in the lunch. You could just about pull your little red wagon up that trail.

See someone does remember my Sipsey incident. Thanks chili.

I really think they can handle that hike. I'm hoping that my son can hike it and I can carry my daughter.

Maybe he'd be interested in our trip the weekend of April 1? Although it's in NE Iowa and he's NW... but still...

OK, gotta read Prosecutor's report
