Let the new guy have it!

“Hello, My name is Tim. I new to the site and wanted to tell you all a little about myself. I am 28 and from Asheville, NC, but I am currently in Djibouti, Africa on a humanitarian mission. We also trave to many of the surrounding countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and Somalia. It's a really different world than the US. The poverty here is unbeleiveable. I will be here for about 11 more months.

When I get back, I plan to hike the AT in the spring of 2006. If you might be interested in a 5-6 month backpacking adventure, let me know. I would like to start with a group of 5-6 people who have a strong desire to finish. It is a 2174.9 mile trip from Georgia to Maine.

I am Also a big music fan. I love it. Can't get enough. I could by a new car with all of the money I have spent on vinyl in the last 7-8 years. I listen to everything from bluegrass to modern rock bands like Interpol and the yeahyeahyeahs.
