“RichB - The Hershey Co's "global supply chain transformation" seems a bit too confusing to show up well in news stories and headlines. The factories in Dauphin, Lancaster, and Luzerne counties are still producing and actually gained production units out of this, however the Reading plant is closing.

Other closing or now-closed plants are in California, Connecticut, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec. There is a new plant in Monterrey that is receiving most of the production from the closing facilities, however some is also shifting to existing Hershey Co. factories in Illinois, Virginia, and Tennessee.
