This really comes down to what is a christian? Who’s a christian and who’s not? For example; where did many of these tenets of the church come from? When did they become tenets? Most of the doctrine of the christian church wasn’t even doctrine until the year 325 CE when the doctrine and the bible itself was canonized at the Council of Nicea. Jesus wasn’t even considered to be divine at this point and the council fought long and hard over the point. Take the trinity; there is but one single verse that can even be used to support the trinity and it is a questionable one at best because the earliest scriptures didn‘t even contain the verses. Yet this is one of the biggest doctrines in the church.”

I was just pointing out that many of the things the church believes makes one a christian isn’t exactly a criteria. Heck worshipping and follow the Messiah isn’t even a requirement in the Jewish scriptures.”
