“Scorch, There is a campsite next to the Loyalsock Creek about a 5 or 10 minute hike from the steel bridge on Mill Creek Road that might work. You can park at a small lot next to the bridge and just hike downstream on a trail until you come to some large pines. It's just off the Loyalsock trail.”

we're thinking of going to this campsite... how far away is the nearest store in case we need to pick up food, toiletries, etc for our clients?

There's a store on Rt. 42 above World's End and I think one on Rt. 220 south of Laporte. There may be a store in Forksville and Laporte, but I'm not sure.

I couldn't find an online map of the Loyalsock trail. The Alpine Club of Williamsport sells a map from their website. Worlds End State Park map online only includes the park itself with the tenting area and cabins.

No problem, I hope everything goes well with your trip and everyone has a nice time. Being out in the woods is good therapy.

RichB...it's a long story on how I found out about them but I have toothbrushes that are softer then anything on the market made by the Tess Corporation:
http://www.tesscorp.com/TessFlash.html

A co-worker and friend visited their factory for our company and came back with their model 3811 Oncology-post surgical brush...it makes cleaning my pallet and area where they removed part of my jawbone so much easier and doesn't damage the sensitive skin...

They sent me some for free and I have a couple left...one will go to the girl who gave me the original as she just had jaw surgery...kinda ironic...I have one left over...

Mary, at the Tess Corp, told me they can be purchased...I think it was 12 for $20 which included shipping...I had told her, thinking primarily of you, that I knew some folks who, like myself, were dealing with various out-of-the-box mouth complications...I'd be glad to mail you the toothbrush if you're interested for free...send me an email...

yo Rich!

haven't seen ya in a while. Hope you be doing good!

Jmitch said you're wanting to get out on the trail sometime soon.

I was thinking of hiking the Loyalsock Link on the 4th and camping at the supa secret bobo site Tuesday night. You interested?

ENS, thanks for the invite, but I won't be able to make it for the 4th. I have to get the carotid arteries in my neck repaired first and tomorrow I'll find out what and when he'll do that. They've narrowed 90% from radiation stenosis and not enough blood is making it up to my head. After that I have to get surgery to remove a nodule from my lung and hopefully on the same day, dilate my esophagus so I can swallow better. Somewhere in the middle of all that or at the end of it, I'll squeeze in as much hiking as I can.

It would be good to see you too. I miss backpacking with everyone, but at least I've been able to dayhike and ride my bike. It's frustrating because I just felt ready to backpack again when my swallowing improved, then that bit the dust 2 weeks ago after my last tongue surgery. Now I got hit with these latest problems. I'll be out backpacking again as soon as I can.

Shoot, my first post said I was bumping this up so we would hopefully hear that your surgery was successful...then I read the "beating cancer" thread and saw bearmagnet was getting operated on today so thought I had mixed things up so I edited my original post...well, I did mix things up...you're BOTH having operations today...hope you are BOTH doing OK...scheesh...I should go to bed...
