Neil Young Recovering From Brain Aneurysm

Heal old friend...........

One of my fav songs............

Once I thought I saw you
in a crowded hazy bar,
Dancing on the light
from star to star.
Far across the moonbeam
I know that's who you are,
I saw your brown eyes
turning once to fire.

You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer
where the feeling stays.
I want to love you but
I'm getting blown away.

I am just a dreamer,
but you are just a dream,
You could have been
anyone to me.
Before that moment
you touched my lips
That perfect feeling
when time just slips
Away between us
on our foggy trip.

You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer
where the feeling stays.
I want to love you but
I'm getting blown away.

You are just a dreamer,
and I am just a dream.
You could have been
anyone to me.
Before that moment
you touched my lips
That perfect feeling
when time just slips
Away between us
on our foggy trip.

You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer
where the feeling stays.
I want to love you but
I'm getting blown away.

Neil was right about Bammy
but he left all the other 49 states out too. That was the problem and hence the rebuttal.

Never really liked Lennyrd Skynner or whatever their name is (and some of them went to my high school in Jacksonville, Florida) but this is one Southern Man who has enjoyed NY for almost 40 years. Hope he recovers real fast.

I'll play "Walk On" tonight.

Neil Young's music isn't bad, but that Devo stuff was a travesty.

In an interview David Crosby stated that he, Stills and Nash bringing Neil Young into their group was a mistake

for Neil was embarassingly more talented than the other 3.

Neil Younghas such talent, his song writing and guitar playing ability make him my favorite. CSNY was good, but Neil as he has said had found the middle of the road to be tiring and found the ditch to be more interesting.

Young is one of my favorites and DEVO is right up there on the list as well. Both are creative and innovative... years ahead of their time... innovators.

Wow thanks Tilt, my order is being shipped
I don't mind new wave too much, it was popular when I was growing up, but the Neil Young/Devo combo was over the top for me, haha!

Then again, who doesn't like to Whip It every once in a while...

Blind man running through the light of the night
With an answer in his hand,
Come on down to the river of sight
And you can really understand,
Red lights flashing through the window in the rain,
Can you hear the sirens moan?
White cane lying in a gutter in the lane,
If you're walking home alone.
