“My first wife was from Israel and her god-father was tied in with some of the settler extremists. It was pretty scary hearing them talk. They got substantial financial backing from far-right Christian fundamentalists in the US - who figured that if these guys fulfilled their plans to kick out Arabs and re-take the temple mount that the end time prophecies would be fulfilled.”

“I went to Frontline’s web site and watched it (you can watch all their shows there, kewl!). I think they represented this group with balance and fairness. There views on how the situation in Israel should be handled is counter to what the Torah teaches. They have a right to live in Israel and defend themselves but they are not in the right for any violent attacks that are not to defend themselves. What they DIDN’T do well is drive home the point that this is a very small minority and they do not represent all Zionists. It was a bit like lumping anyone right of center with militia types here in the states.”
