I don't know if America is too far to the right or not. I know we need to spend more on education instead of dealing with crime and drugs on the back end. I feel that we need to spend the money now so that 20 years from now we'll have better educated people that are less likely to commit crimes or be on the government tit.

I also feel there is a morals crisis in this country. Kids are having more sex at a younger age. Parents aren't being parents, they're being friends and not instilling morals in their children.”

The problem is that right-wing ideology claims that ignorance and poverty has nothing to do with crime.
The fact is those people want to de-fund education and spend the money blowing up things and people.

You can take the most moral upbringing in the world, but take the income away and weird things happen. Besides being morally wrong, it has allowed the corporate interests to divide and conquer the American electorate. The Democratic Party, which had strong support in the south because it stood up for working class people, has lost the Southern vote in national elections.
