Canoe trips- Indiana

“any hoosiers got any input for overnight canoe trips in indiana?”

“Crash, when we did the Adventure Hiking trail there was the Blue River. You can rent canoes and they offer shuttles also.”

“blue rivers a long-ass drive when theres lots more closer to home. but thanks for the suggestion. im thinking about renting a canoe from iu outdoor adventures and going on lake monroe in hnf”

“Turkey Run area has some decent trips but they're usually pretty crowded. Sugar Creek I think.

I'f you're renting a canoe, the white river is actually pretty nice in several sections, for example around Beford, Williams etc. Watch out for the Dam at Williams. Had a couple friends go over the dam last year.

I couple of us have been talking about doing a weekend kayak/canoe trip on Lake Monroe sometime in July. Haven't decided on a weekend yet.”
