Opening Day, Fenway

“Any Red Sox fans out there?

Just wondering if any of you were lucky enough to see (or attend) Opening Day at Fenway Park yesterday. Great stuff...first championship flag since 1918; lots of favorite players from back in the day. Very classy performance by Joe Torre and his team in applauding the Sox throughout
the ceremony. Also pretty amusing to see how fired up the Sox were....the boos when the visiting team were introduced was like nothing I've ever seen; they booed the Yankeee BATBOY, which was pretty damned funny.

Oh, and they whacked the living bejeezus out of the Yankees, so all in all, it was a marvelous afternoon. Sorry I was in North Carolina, cuz it must've ben a mighty fine day back home.”
