What's interesting about it is that it is still 85% of the original building that was occupied by the British army when they had trapped Washington's army in the Revolutionary War's "Battle of Brooklyn." Washington's men had escaped only through the help of 400 militiamen from Maryland that gave their lives so Washington's men could escape via the waterways nearby. The whole first floor is like a small museum dedicated to this event and we are going to be able to meet upstairs on the second. The folks are real nice and we are awaiting full committee approval at the end of the month and for them to sign the charter...
