Newcomb? That's the place where nothing useful exists, right, Zac?

“Does DEET melt fleece?”

I don't know about fleece, but it will melt a pair of sunglasses. I've also had pretty good luck with Repel Lemon Eucalyptus which doesn't contain DEET, but it doesn't seem to last as long.

And well you should, Mark-O!

Good to know I'm not just spinning my wheels here! (there's a loaded idea in that one, too)

Uh huh!!

That was kinda like George Carlin's "custody wheel" on the "Divorce Game"........

"Will it be the trees.........or the ditch??"

Thankfully, you chose the "middle of the road" ultimately!

Looks like we'll have to cancel
Friday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Widespread haze. Partly cloudy, with a high near 87. Southwest wind between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low near 63. Southwest wind between 5 and 8 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Saturday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Widespread haze. Partly cloudy, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Saturday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 8pm. Widespread haze before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Sunday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high around 84. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

It looks like we'll have to postpone this trip. A 60% chance of t-storms on Saturday pretty much means they will hit but they just are sure how long they will hit. How does the weekend of June 24-25-26 sound to everyone?

I'm hip, lumberdude.

My headnet has not arrived from Campmor......probably today.

I've been tuning-up my legs with a lot of stairs.

The more sweat in training............still gonna sweat my ass off on the mountain.

Postponing looks like the sensible thing to do.

I'm not sure about the new date yet but this weekend looks like a good time to get a few more of the Whites that I haven't done yet if anyone is interested.

it looks t-stormy everywhere this weekend. I'll deal with just about any weather condition except dodgin lightnin bolts. This might be a good weekend to recharge my batteries. I'm still feeling last week's adventure and working outside all week in this heat hasn't helped.

Pennsy, you should atleast come and camp with us on Friday - the place where we are camping is nice. Surrounded by rhodes and hemlocks and right next to a pretty creek.

careful Yammy. Don't get a nosebleed way up there. ;o)

ENS - I'm most likely going to hang around here this weekend. Myself and my car could probably use a break, especially since I'll be away probably every weekend for the next several weeks. Keep me posted on what you're doing Sunday, just in case.
