I don't know about fleece, but it will melt a pair of sunglasses. I've also had pretty good luck with Repel Lemon Eucalyptus which doesn't contain DEET, but it doesn't seem to last as long.

It looks like we'll have to postpone this trip. A 60% chance of t-storms on Saturday pretty much means they will hit but they just are sure how long they will hit. How does the weekend of June 24-25-26 sound to everyone?”
