“I've been following her career for well over 10 years now, when she was unknown on the music circuit. I think the movie Brother Where Art Thou, helped propel Bluegrass to the mainstream. Even Ricky Scraggs had to make "country" songs to make a living, but his roots were bluegrass. Her real early stuff is a little hard to find, but awesome.”

“There was a 60 minutes or 20/20 interview of her when she was about 19. I believe she was discovered by Doc Watson at a fiddle contest at age 13.
