I think . . .that someone who is IN an abusive relationship . ..who allows themselves to be in an abusive relationship (there MUST be warning signs right? it just doesn't happen overnight, does it???) . .anyhoo . ..someone who is pre-disposed towards being in an abusive relationship . ..probably is the same kind of person who doesn't ahve the coping skills to get themselves out, to quit cold turkey.

Sure. There are folks like gemini (go gemini) who go upside the guys head with an iron. But I would hazard a guess that most folks in an abusive relationship don't ahv the coping skills to get themselves out.


We can dimiss them as weak, or dumb, or masochistic . . .and let it go at that, but i don't think that is serving society very well.
