I did make a TT trip a few months ago to the Walls of Jericho where I met several of the usual suspects but haven't had a good opportunity to make any more trips since. “I was driving someone elses vehicle on the dragons tail about 2 years ago and it died. Talk about putting the fear of God in you as the crotch rockets zipped past at 60 coming out of a curve. It cranked in what was probably 1 minute, but it seemed like an hour.

Don't think I will make. Even if I did, I would be hiking alone to meet you a CS#13. Timing is not quite right with some other hiking I have planned. I'm hoping for some good flowers blooming for you, although it may a week too early.

So there you have it folks.. I reserved 8 places on mine. Technically, CS#93 is non-rationed.. but CS #13 is.. and I got 8, LZ's got 2.. that leaves only a few more. I don't have my GSMNP map in front of me -- but I'm assuming it's a 12 MAX campsite.

Basically it's a private party.. lmbo.. with all of us.

According to my list.. Ewker (1), me (2), Bryan (3).. Chili (4) is coming up the front side.. (look for him LZ.. nice guy if you have never met him).. Toph (5), Hyway (6) and Embear (7) are maybes.. Paul (x) says he can't make it.. my friend John (x) had to bail cos he got called out on maneuvers.. so if I counted right, and nothing has changed since I looked last.. that's the status best I know it..

Embear (and any other Nashville ppl): Ewker is leaving about lunchtime Friday. I can't leave till late afternoon.”

TownDawg - Sorry, my plan, as of now, is to take a shuttle boat to Hazel Creek and hike to each of the four campsites going east on Lake Shore Trail and return. Then over to Eagle Creek at 90, upstream to the three campsites on Eagle Creek, back to 91 and out. Then I want to catch all the flowers on the AT above Cosby. If I can do all that, then I'll decide from several choices for the hiking during the rest of June.
