Cache Me If You Can

“Spent the weekend playing with my new toy. Was intimidated initially with the complexity of the gadget known as gps but after some tinkering surprisingly it isn't that difficult.

KK (my youngin) and I were up and out by 7am Saturday. Forecast called for thunderstorms but we were spared and were able to geocache around our city all day. Out of the 6 sites we searched for we found 3. ONe of which was a travel bug that started in New Zealand...Saturday night we had a geography lesson re: exactly where New Zealand is..... then wrapped up the day by going to the Carolina Mudcats game for expensive beers and a BIG TIME!! WHOO HOOO.

Its surprising how many people are doing this. A great time and a neat way to get outdoors when your stuck in the flatland. KK was ready to go on another this morning but school was a must. I have to admit, if it hadn't set a poor precident..I'd a ditched work and kept her out to do it today.
