“Are you sure it's a Hairy Woodpecker and not a Downy? They are strikingly similar in almost all features.

According to Audubon:

A Hairy is mostly deciduous forest and shy. The Downy is much more common around people. A Hairy is the size of a Robin and the Downy is sparrow size.

The Hairy is considered one of the most beneficial bird species in regards to trees for it's consumption of harmful insects. The book didn't say anything els regarding good or bad for the Downy.”

“I only watch Cool Birds! Braddock Bay, Rachacha NY is a Raptor Migratory funnel. Seeing close to a Thousand Hawks in the air is an awesome experience. watching them catch hawks and band was pretty cool too. The Owls were amazing. Woodpeckers are cool. And ducks are pretty cool. Loons are awesome.

man is sinful. man accepts jesus as savior. man is still sinful. god wont let sinful man into heaven. see the problem here? accepting jesus as savior doesnt literally, concretely change anything. it seems to be symbolic, like wedding vows, or baptism.

“it does not concretely change things, you are correct. it is a penalty. there are few penalties in life that reverse the reason for the penalty in the first place. this is no different

i have never seen a reason for three days in hell listed in the bible. you will need to ask god that. i am quite certain from how it is described that one minute in hell would be more than you would want to bear. why do murderers sometimes get out after 20 years?

a doubter cannot go to heaven because it is not part of the plea-bargain. we all deserve hell, even (especially) christians. jesus just gave us a way out

if you can drive a hole in any of this logically, let us hear it

OK, Pay attention here CB, I'll try to keep this very simple for you since obviously you're a very simple person:

Different groups (that means "different Christian religious groups") interpret the Bible differently. Some are from the "you will burn in he11" crowd, others are a lot more liberal in their interpretation. That is one of the reasons why you have everything from Catholics to Fundamentalists to Lutherans to Mormons, and more, calling themselves "Christian".

That book was written 2000 years ago... it is interpreted differently by different groups. Some are strict, some are not.


Please do a little researh, educate yourself & understand more of the subject matter before you (are you ready!) get out your broad brush & paint everyone the same without knowing jacksh1t about what you were talking about.”
