Your calculated health span is 84.1 years. Below, please find the reasoning behind the questions, which you answered that made your score less than it should be:

Women rule!

the write up on mine said that women tend to outlive men by about 10 years - AND women that were single did better than married women.

LOL wonder why??????

conversely, married men lived longer than single men (according to the thingy)

soooooo, i suppose I should find me an older woman to settle down with.

The speculation is that women who are single are more self-reliant, have an independent spirit which can be an indicator of longevity. Can't remember what else it said on mine about that.

I think it's because the single women don't have as many headaches and stress. hee hee

then I wanna know how I got a 97.5 rating? Must be the " no red meet"

87.4--And I don't believe it.

Recent research shows that BOTH husbands and wives benefit from marriage, although the gain is slightly more for men.

The stats on single women living longer are still out. Research pending.

hmm...I now did the same test as a single women

single: Your calculated health span is 97.8 years.

married: Your calculated health span is 97.5 years

sooo... that's not a lot. I guess we women are living much healthier.

93.2 for me. I eat to much red meat, drink to much wine and don't eat enough fruits or vitamins. Guess I need to change that. But I thought wine was good for you. Still don't see myself living that long.

Your calculated health span is 88.8 years.

Curious, I did some calculations on my companies pension plan and found that the life expectancy was about 74. (seeing how long it takes to exhaust the cash payout collecting 4% and making the same monthly payments).

All who have posted so far are way above that, could it be the backpacking ??

I did play with the weekly exercise figure and it makes a big difference.
