See if you can spot me now!
I kept confusing my old license plate with my newer one, so viola! Trail name = custom license plate tag. I think the cop that pulled me over for "speeding" last week was curious as well. Everyone else seems to think it's cute. Anyone else do that with a trail name?

Next time I'm in Tennessee I'll keep a look out.

When I lived in Virginia I had Virginia's "mountain plates"......HMPN MTS

rocksee? Roxie?
So now people who pass you on the freeway will have no idea what 'rocksee' means just like the people on tt.

It seems clear enough to me.

If you had a sense of humor, geo, you might have a better understanding and not be such a whiner.

A couple friends of mine, changed their email to mountingmonsters...it was supposed to be mtnmonsters.

The fact that they were lesbians made it a tad ironic.

what's in a name
So the legend goes, when I was in college my nickname was "Roxy". Some diehard NY friends still call me that years later (not in Nash TN) So, given my love for geological specimins and the great outdoors...I have brought home rocks from just about everywhere except Hawaii. The name morphed itself right there in my brain. I saw another plate yesturday, "COCO GRL". It's alot of fun!

Just saw a new plate the other day--- I wonder if it belongs to a Michigan TTer???

It was a Michigan plate that read:

I get my new plates in January for the Jeep. I let the old on expire and Indiana has a new rule that if this happens, it cannot be used for 5 years. Stoopid rule!

I think my new one will be BSE CAMP

The reason I have RC76N2 is that it is a river conservation tag with a cute little river otter. When you get those tags in Pa., you can't do vanity plates.

I want to get a personalized plate down here that says "choose life" and cover up the word life, but some money goes to stifling the right to choose so I won't.

mine says...
STKMON. I am who I always have been and always will be. Look for me on the highways of the USA. Blazing Red Ford Explorer Sport Trak with the cranking tunes and crazy looking Siberian Husky hanging out the window. Various configurations could be back pack in the truck bed, red (and maybe green) canoe(s) on the roof, bike(s) on the gate, or maybe all 3 simultaneously.

See ya on the road.

I actually had someone photographing my tag the other day at a traffic light and was wondering if another TT'er may have been in the area.
