Garmin GPS 60CS
Has anyone used this GPS unit before? I personaly never owned a gps unit. From what I read in magazines and online reviews this is a good model. It has a very clear color screen even in daylight. Decent run time on the batteries and has a all sorts of other gadgets in it like altimiter, weather proof, baromiter ect. My family and I are looking for to doing Geo Caching, and more with it. I know there are much cheaper units. Is this worth it is my question?

Go for the GPSMAP 60. I'd never be without a mapping GPS again.

I've never used the Garmin, but after reading a few reviews, I went with the Magellen SporTrak Pro. I am extrememly happy with the reception of the Magellen -- I can usually pick up 5 satellites minimum even in deep gorges or in my house, and the TOPO mapping software, though an extra cost, has lots of trail info that can be uploaded to the unit.

Hmm
Yes thats what I meant GPS Map 60CS.

I would use it on the trail of course but I would also use it to navigate from 1 address to another. I need to get some add on software I guess for that or find a search engine that gives gps coords. I found one but it let you use it 3-5 times before they wanted you to pay for the service.
I have never used a gps before but as I said Im really looking forward to using it for fun and hobby. Geo cache, trail use, navigating to/from places by car. Anyone experienced know the differnces in the software I saw about 2 kinds I believe last I looked I think they were 2 seporate companies Im not sure. What do you all recomend Software wise to add on road destinations as far ras addresses go? I dont care if it has trail information I can always do waypoints and backtrack with them :)

Thanks for the help everyone thankful for your time.
