100 mile wilderness in may
I'm trying to hike the 100 mile wilderness at the end of may, ive heard a few thigns such as may is black fly and mud season. These dont concern me as much as the possiblity of streams being flooded making it difficult to cross parts of the trail. I hiked it a few years ago but in august and the trail was "dry" but I remember one or two streams that were still shin deep. Ive hiked in Alaska in the summer and dealt with pretty bad bugs before so im not that worried about that. How bad is the mud? If anyone has done this trip before and has any incite ide appreciate it
