“alright i am a 15 year old highschool kid that would really love to backpack. Yes i know i am a beginner and all but no one in my family backpacks. Does anybody know a way that i can go for longer backpacking trips.”

“Boy Scout Troops come in all flavors, not all scouts are "dorks". There are some "high adventure" troops that you might enjoy if you gave them a try. Just don't join the first troop you find, do some looking around & make sure to join a troop whose activities match your interests. They all should have an "activity calendar" & be able to tell you what they usually do on their outings.”

“Troop 1 Fairbanks AK used to camp one weekend a month, EVERY MONTH, backpacking trip in summer, ski to cabin trip in winter.

Sierra Club outings might be a good way to go at your age as well.
