Nope. This is a different kind of warfare here. Mostly humanitarian aid. MEDCAPs and VETCAPs in the entire Horn of Africa region. We have helped a lot of people and a lot of camels, goats, donkeys......

There are more pictures if you look at pictures by user. Just click ole Blind Wille to see more.....

Well, ... I for one won't believe it until it's verified on CBS or ABC or PBS. Until then, I it's all hearsay.

lmao!!!! I hear ya man! If it is not death or destruction it's not made for the American Media!

I tried to get my hometown paper to do an article on it, they said that "it would not capture the attention of many people, so its not news the we will report on."

hehehe....
The media sucks....

thanks for the pics. Djibouti is in a very interestng location. Navy used to do a bunch of MEDCAPS out of Subic Bay. Didn't have a chance, but those who did liked doing it. Made them thankful for what they had at home, too.

No kidding there man, The people here have NOTHING. Most out in the country are skin and bones. You see some rough s*&# here that sometimes is a little hard to handle. But the look of happy, fed children is great. It makes it all worth it. We also work at the orphanages here. I hate the you missed out on it. I think that this is the best mission I have been on in my six years..
