“Coffee, I love it. Can't function without it in the morning. For Christmas my wife gave me one of those gifts boxes with samples from 12 countries. It was awesome!

African Kona was by far the best.
Sumatra came in a strong second.

What are our favorites?”

“I was a pot a day addict but I simply don’t drink it much any more. I’ll have two 80z. Cups on weekdays and a 12oz mug on the weekends. I’ll have one 16 nalgene on the trail (two if it’s a cold morning or I’m ‘foggy’). I do feel a lot better now than I did when I drank a whole pot.

As for flavored…everything has a time and a place. A Starbucks vinte` Carmel Frappachino Light with an extra shot definitely has it’s place in life. But for everyday drinking it’s French roast.”

“I've managted to cut down by only drinking coffe in the morning.

I buy 2 parts moka dark and 1 part arabice medium and grind it in the store. I store it in a freezer bag in my freezer.

In the morning I make a pot and usually drink two cups in bed while I plan my day and lidten to the radio. I then get up and when I leave I take a travel cup with me to school.

Oh yes, I add 10% cream.”

“Most people think my coffee is too strong. I try to tell them they are just used to coffee too weak. 2 tablespoons of coffee per up. Anything else is too weak :D”

“what size cup? I use between 2 and 3 tablespoons. don't use a electric coffee machine either anymore. Each cup is fresh.

hehee...I had to go and measure real quick because I normally guess how much coffee....

yeah I was about right 2 to 3 tablespoons for a mug. It's pretty strong though. oh...and don't forget the tinny bit of salt.

Agreed- 2-3 spoons/cup depending on the coffee and individual taste.
