Whose from WI/MN/IL/MI
Any TTr's in the midwest? How about organizing some type of family gathering/event. I've got 3 kids 14, 12, 10. Devils Lake State Park is my backyard.
Any interest?

Sure, don't mention IOWA. phhhhhhhhht!!!
;-P

LOL! Was a lifelong resident till moving to SE MN two years ago.

Was just through the Dells on I-94 last weekend.

So yeah, plan an event. We LOVE to get together!! Ask first to see if some weekend works better than another.

And consider the Upper I-O-WAnna canoe trip the first weekend in June. It's north of Decorah and am guessing maybe 3 hours at absolute most from the Dells area.

Pekka is from the northwoods, but he hasn't posted in quite a while. Reformed Lurker is getting married in Cheeseland this summer, but he and his lovely bride will live in central lower Michigan.

I love the Cheeseland. Most of my good friends from college live in the Appleton/Green Bay area, but I rarely head over that way.

I love cheese curds.

Some had talked about a car camping trip near Chicago awhile back. I'd love to do that and it seems pretty central (at least to me, lol).

There's the All about the kids III trip on the trips page too. End of July, all are welcome!

This Cocaine Mix-Up Is Just Plain Cheesy

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP)
— Police in Memphis, Tenn., say a woman mistook a block of cheese for cocaine — and tried to hire a hit man to kill four men and steal it.

Police say the 18-year-old woman was mistaken about the hit man, too. He was an undercover policeman.

She's charged with four counts of attempted murder and four more of soliciting a murder.

Authorities say the aspiring model was in the men's house recently when she saw the white, crumbly cheese that she thought was cocaine.

Police say the undercover officer posing as a hit man gave her some non-functioning handguns, bought ammunition for her because she was too young and accompanied her to the home under police surveillance.

People in the home gave police permission to search it. They found only the cheese.

well suuuuure, that's understandable...who hasn't mistaken a block of crumbly cheese for cocaine at least once in their lives! that reminds me of that Cheech & Chong movie, where that lady snorts something she thinks is coke, but isn't...what is it, like Comet or something?
