Rockies!
As soon as school was out I took a solo trip to RMNP for a week. The photos are not that great and as usual, they do not do the area justice. But looking at them sure does make me want to go back! America is so beautiful!
The photos are from Moraine (sp?) Park, Twin Sisters, Mills Lake, Eugenia Mine and the area, Sheep Lakes, Alberta Falls, Stanley Hotel (where the Shinning was filmed in Estes Park,CO)
All of the photos are here:

My bad Roam. Where do you live? I was in Denver with a friend for Cinco De Mayo. I took advantage of that REI sale too! I finally got the Kilo Plus zero degree bag I have been wanting!

I would still be there right now if my mother had not been in surgery for a ruptured disc in her back. That was my first trip to RMNP. I really want to go back sometime soon but I am finishing up with school and I dont think that the opportunity will come again anytime soon. I know one thing that will be done next time I go and the snow is gone.... Longs Peak!

Roam
sure thing.... I dont start summer school untill the 31st... I think that I might be kayaking off the Miss. coast to Horn island for 14 miles of unspoiled beach fishing and loafing. It's only a few hours drive from here....maybe I should let Stovestomper know since he is from around there. I want to return to CO right now! Good luck on your wandering! POST PLENTY O' PICS!

dh...
the rockies will call your name. And if your real quiet, you'll hear it. The best way to go there is through your dreams. If you eat enough peyote, the spirits will allow you to go there whenever you want.

Waaa! I miss Colroado!
Your pics made me homesick for Colorado. I lived there for 7 years and was about 1 hour from RMNP. I recently moved back to Tennessee.

Did you snowshoe to Mills Lake? I think I recognized it from one of the photos.

Thanks for the website Roam! I like all the pics. Stiky, I think I will stay away from the peyote....hehe. ;-)

Well woodzie.. I've never lived there and I feel homesick after leaving. Maybe living there should be in consideration. A few of the photos were at Mills lake. It was such a beautiful area. So was the loch but my dang camera batteries died.

Hey anyone want to hire a computer information systems major? I finish in August!

(note: employers in mountainous regions have preference...hehe)

Hey, Feeney
Yes, it is the one and only Woodswoman. You know, the one who lost her mind and moved to Tennessee from Colorado. My bad :-(

I miss you guys!
