ohh...u don't know...bpmaniacs.com is my site, I had this site for a while now, and someone asked me if they could use it...so I said yes...it now turned out to be a CA site...which is okay... because none of the east coaster signed up. Duhh!!!

I don't really care what it is for as long as it provides a portal for people that will use it well...

Why those dang hackers hacked it... i just don't know...i think its a phpBB thing... easy to hack. May need to change the board.

5 or 6 years ago i got my biz site hacked by some famous hacker group. People keept telling me I should be proud they hacked me. DUHHHH!!! Right!!!”

We were actually Hacked Twice. The 16th I managed to clean-up the mess, but by noon on the 17th they struck even harder. My thought is that it was the same hackers as the ones that did in Sierra Topix. If so, it will be hard for Eric to retreave usable info. to use as back-up. BpManiacs was only up for two months, but we managed to attract 65 members and >200 posts.
We had also managed to have 4 trips, 3 of which were 3day 2night... I must also note that the majority of our forum members were from the Northern California area... There are a ton of you out there that still want something like BpManiacs to happen, sooooo we will try again. http://bpmaniacs.com/phpbb2/
Please remember that the BpManiacs forum is not meant to replace your favorite forum. What it was progressing towards, before it was hacked, was a middle man of sorts between existing Clubs and sites... Members and Admin from TT, NorthCa_Hiking, BayAreaHiking, Sierra Topix, Outdoor Adventures, and More all have Hiked on one or more of our 4 trips...
I'm just having some fun and meeting some amazing people!!!
