Triathlon's

“No triathlons for me this year. I have my eyes on a few road races toward the end of he year. Maybe next year.

2 more years for me for the Chicago Marathon.”

“B-Son and I did our first ever triathlon this morning!! It was a "sprint" distance: 400 yards swim, 11 miles bike, and a 5k run. We both survived! We started at the very back and therefore I passed people the whole way, once I was out of the water - maybe 200 or more people. B-Son wasn't quite as quick on the bike or run, but says he, too, mostly passed people the whole way. I averaged 21.5 mph on the bike and 7:48/mile in the run - not too bad for an old fart.”
