Watkins Glen SP

“Does anyone know if it is possible to reach Watkins Glen State Park by public tranport/train/greyhound...or a combination of these? Has anyone done it? Looking to leave from NYC.

“You can get the 'hound five different ways from Port Authority to Elmira, I just checked their web site. Plenty of buses to Ithaca too.

Then, WEEKDAYS ONLY, there are commuter buses between Watkins Glen and Elmira and/or Ithaca. http://www.chemungcountytransit.com/Route%20Change%20Information.htm

Looks like it would take a while but at least be possible. Watkins Glen is one of the most amazing parks, anywhere, that I've been to. Have fun!
