“i know what you mean, trying to find a pair of hiking pants i like is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. it used to be that all i could find were dumb zip-offs, but the latest trend for women in REI and whatnot right now is capris. everything is capris, capris, capris! and when i say "capris," i use this term loosely b/c what they really look like is retarded slightly-too-short pants. LOL! all i want is some regular hiking pants that aren't old-lady. i'm pretty sure i just need to go to Patagonia and they'll have what i want...it's just so $$$$ there!”

I was just thinking the other day that I'd love to have hiking pants that are "cute" and therefore could do double duty when travelling as "out on the town pants"...
