And today, for the first time since, my chin is bare again. Fourteen inches of hair, gone.
This is gonna take some getting use to. Perhaps I'll sleep better? No more waking up at night because my shoulder is resting upon my goatee and I can not roll over.
An experiment of sorts? Socially, I was shunned by many just because I had natural growth on my face. People walked to the other side of the street so that they could avoid me. Lets see now how I am accepted.

I dunno if I would have done that after taking that long to grow it. But then I can't get mine much longer than an inch or so before I neurotically trim it.

Time to clean the gulley trap under the bathroom sink before it gets clogged.

Goat, my friend told me people wouldn't sit by him when he was in the airport because of his long beard and hair!

One of my dad's friends shaved his moustache after many years... I didn't even recognize him until I saw his wife and family with him!

Hmmmm
I haven't shaved in 22 years,, why'd ya give up goat? I like the intimidation factor it gives me,, keeps things peaceful like, although my girlfriend does make me civilize myself from time to time.

I thought this was another Spirit Coyote thread.....

I've had my beard for 35 years. I have thought about shaving, but always end up saying, naaaaaaaaaaaa

The main reason for shaving is the fact that I've been looking for a job and nobody will consider me with all that natural growth. As soon as I get a job, I'll stop shaving again.
Pre shave pics can be found on my domain...

I suspect I'll have a few after shots by Tuesday.

I always kept my beard trimmed close, never had a problem with the job thing.

I shaved my 20 year old mustache last year because I was sick of trimming it -you would think I would have it right by now and because I did not want to be so attached to it that I could not go without it -
