Geo - Only you jumped on me. Someone else agreed with me. Maybe I'll just post your opinion from now on so we can get along.

If you don't realize that she's popular because of her looks (which is my claim) then you deserve a demeaning comment.

Thanks for proving my point, not to mention the chauvinistic issue you raised. This, of course, followed my post about her intelligence. And, of course, her excellent qualifying time and a fourth place finish were all because of good looks too I suppose?

So because I disagree with you I deserve demeaning comments??? Yes, other people may have raised the same issue, but you are the only one who accused people who supported her of not having a "thinking organ." Yeah, I jumped on that. I'm like that.

beet is one of those guys that love to dish it out but cries like a baby when someone dishes it back.

I dunno if Sarge meant to be demeaning or was just trying to find a clever way to refer to sexual interest. Obviously that she is hot is part of the appeal. Hearing that she is really intelligent just makes her hotter to me.
It's like Kournikova in tennis - she got way more attention than her game would warrant because lots of guys adored her. Sharapova (sp?) is a better player, but I'm aware of her partly because she is gorgeous. Only someone as great as Navratilova would get that much of my attention if there weren't some libinal appeal.

Personally, I paid a lot more attention to racing when I lived near the N.H. Speedway in Loudon. So, I am definitely someone whose attention was grabbed by a smart talented and good looking woman, even if she isn't one of the two or three best drivers out there.

Don't pay any attention to Geobeet. That mincing PC do-gooder has been on the rag since he came here. The point is:

1) The woman's car does have an advantage because of her weight. But this only means car owners will be looking for lighter drivers until the governing organization realizes that things have been perfected so much that it's time to consider overall weight.

2) She's still a damn good driver even though she screwed up a couple of times.

3) Yes she is a Madison Ave. marketer's dream come true but only because men enjoy eye candy. And I might add that no one forced her to pose in those two photos epecially the clothed "spread beaver" shot, so if men (like myself) want to look at her like a piece of meat she has no one to blame but herself. I bet she does Playboy before the end of the year. Exploited women my ass.

4) I still wanted her to win because of her looks and fabulous hooters! Although after looking at the pictures she might be a 32B at the max. We'll know for sure after Playboy.

Thanks pedx and sh. Yes pedx, I was trying to make the point w/o using the male genitalia reference, inspired by an episode of Seinfeld.

I don't take it personally, I think geo has a thing for me. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Just to clarify the weight thing
The Indy Racing League does not consider the weight of the driver in its race specifications. The car has to weigh at least 1,525 pounds before the fuel and driver are added,

Another woman tried her hand at NASCAR today.

Jacques Villeneuve wrecked a couple trucks at Talladaga. Villeneuve an open wheel champion in several racing series found the high speeds of Talladega to be beyond his ability.

Oh yea, as I predicted, Danica Patrick has never won a race.
