I'm off to Alaska in a few weeks and while we already have 8 days planned out in Denali, we're not quit sure what to do with the other 7 days or so that we're going to spend down in the Kenai Pen.. I know we're planning on kayaking in Prince William Sound for a day ro two, but that's as far as we've got. Does anybody have any good ideas on places to hike and camp in the Kenai NWR ro somewhere down toward the Chugach Mountains???

Lets see, get out on the Resurrection River Trail for a few days, you can hike into the back side of the Harding Ice Fields if you wanted to. Or go down the road towards Soldotna and hike the Seven Lakes Trail inside the National Wildlife Refuge. Both trails are worth the time and effort.

I'll give more details if anything there interests you. Harding Icefield, and Wrangell St. Elias are good choices.
