Exped/ORGEAR cudos

“I bought 2 of the Exped foam airmats 3 years ago when they were first available in the US. They are the self inflating airmats that can be used with or without the included foam sleeve. They are extremely comfortable.

My original mats were made out of a weak looking material that would occasionally puncture, even though I would take great care as to where I set them up, and really piss me off because it was very hard to find the puncture while on the trail. Finally fed up, I contacted the company to see if they would warranty the product. I received an email right away from ORGEAR. They recently acquired the rights to distribute Exped in the states. They agreed to take a look at the mats and within a couple weeks I received 2 new and improved mats totally free of charge. The new mats are made out of noticably tougher/thicker material. But only time will tell how resilient this material is.
