Escarpment Path Dayhike

“1st or 2nd weekend in october should still have enough daylight to do this.

this will be a long, tough dayhike with some spectacular views along the way.

like the devil's path but with only half the vertical change.



we could stay at the northlake campground and hike it north.

good bail-out points along the way at

4.5 miles - (back to campground)
7 miles - (2 miles back to campground)
12 miles - (4 miles down to colgate lake)
14 miles - (2 miles down to maplecrest road)
