Tupperware for a Cozy? “Anyone use a Tupperware 1.1 litre stackable container for a cozy? My wife just got in an order of stuff. I saw this thing on the floor and thought HEY! that would make a great cozy. Pack spices and stuff inside, then use it to rehydrate meals. My wife is pretty good with a sewing machine so I could have her sew a fleece wrap for it. Any thoughts?” 4:07:25 PM 6/08/05 “Considering the price of real tupperware, I'm surprisd your wife even let you touch it! I've done that before but found I prefer ziploc freezer bags instead.” 4:09:06 PM 6/08/05 “The term 'cozy' usually refers to the wrap that goes around the container.” 5:35:58 PM 6/08/05 “Yep, understand that. But also looking at alternatives to put the freezer bag in while the meal rehydrates.” 5:51:28 PM 6/08/05 “Sure, it would work. A lot of times what you are looking for is something that will hold the bag, and keep heat in :-)In summer, it isn't as important to have a super insulated cozy, if you are in a warm location.” 9:12:08 PM 6/08/05 “I think I'd rather have something that folds up, or packs flat. It would work, esp if you lined it with insulation (maybe plastic packing bubbles or something).” 7:13:29 AM 6/09/05 “Sass, antigravitygear sells a cozy just for the enertia meals if your interested. You can also get it on the enertia site http://www.antigravitygear.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=3_13&products_id=75” 8:01:16 AM 6/09/05 “Thanks Ewk. I use an old padded Coleman Peak One stove bag. It works just fine and I can throw it in the washer if it gets mucky.” 11:06:01 AM 6/09/05 “I almost had to set the tent up in the backyard after my wife found out I was taking her tupperware backpacking. What is mine is yours and what is yours is yours!” 12:18:46 PM 6/09/05
